I am also a big believer in Mindfulness Meditation to help calm and focus the brain. Today’s culture has trained us to expect almost constant stimulation; for some of us that can lead to an overactive mind that is living almost exclusively in the past or the future. Learning how to live in the present can ease anxiety and depression and generally helps us to have a more positive outlook about ourselves and others.
